Asha Kilaru is a public health researcher and maternal health advocate with extensive experience in maternal, newborn, and child health. As Director and Co-Founder of Bangalore Birth Network (BBN), she leads the organization’s work in strengthening maternal health awareness, respectful maternity care, and community education around pregnancy and childbirth. Her work focuses on improving access to reliable health information for mothers, caregivers, and frontline health workers. Through BBN, she has been instrumental in developing educational programs, training initiatives, and community engagement efforts that support informed decision-making and improved maternal and child health outcomes.
